Traffic Impacts
Expect daily SINGLE-LANE TRAFFIC, flagging and PILOT-CAR operations.
Project End Result
The Alaska Department of Transportation, in partnership with QAP and Alaska Roadbuilders, is working to improve travel on the Sterling Highway from the Wye to Jim's Landing (MP 37 to 58). Work will include resurfacing, improved drainage, new signage, guardrails and striping. Work on the Sterling Highway MP 37 to 45 is expected to be completed in June of 2013. Work on MP 45 to 58 is scheduled to be completed in August of 2014.
