ROAD CLOSURE: Beginning on Monday, July 27, the Seward Highway will be CLOSED from MP 52 to 52.5, just south of the Hope Highway for one hour, between 9:30pm and 10:30pm, Monday through Thursday, until Thursday, August 27. Please plan accordingly.

• At all other times, expect LANE RESTRICTIONS, flagging operations, 20-minute DELAYS and intermittent gravel surfaces from 5:00am Monday through 12:00pm Friday.

The Alaska Department of Transportation is working in partnership with Pruhs Construction to repave the Seward Highway from MP 50 to MP 75. This project includes work on guardrail, signage, drain restoration, and minor structural repair in selected locations. Bridge deck rehabilitation and bridge rail upgrades will be performed on Sixmile Creek Bridge No.615, Granite Creek Bridge No.616, and Canyon Creek Bridge No.1964.
