RICHARDSON HIGHWAY, MP 24 to MP 35 RESURFACING ROAD CONSTRUCTION through October
What You Need to Know
  • Expect DELAYS up to 20 minutes Monday through Sunday from 6:00am to 10:00pm.
  • Be alert to LANE RESTRICTIONS, PILOT CAR and flagging operations. 
Traffic Impacts

Operations on this project will include asphalt grinding and culvert replacements.  Use caution when driving on gravel surfaces, and be alert to truck crossings. Please be aware of flaggers stationed at either end of the active work zones and comply with all traffic control devices and traffic personnel instructions.

Project End Result

The Alaska Department of Transportation, in cooperation with QAP, is working to resurface the Richardson Highway from MP 24 to MP 35. Upon completion, new pavement will be installed between MP 24 and MP 35, along with improved drainage structures and new guardrail sections. This project is expected to be complete by October 2017.
