What You Need to Know
  • Through Sunday, August 16, crews will be installing snow poles and guardrail. 
  • Drivers should be alert to LANE CLOSURES and shoulder work.
  • Please drive with headlights on at all times as fog may be dense. Use caution when entering the work area.
Project End Result

The Alaska Department of Transportation, in cooperation with HC Contractors, Inc., is working to resurface the Richardson Highway between MP 18 and 24. This project is expected to be complete by October 2020.
