What You Need to Know
  • Drivers should be alert to shoulder work, loose gravel, PILOT CAR operations, and roadway paving.
  • Please expect DELAYS up to 20 minutes while crews perform paving operations.
  • Please be alert to traffic control, workers, and equipment from MP 99 to 123.5.
  • Downed trees from MP 99 to 123.5 can be taken for public personal use. Please park in safe areas, and stay clear of active work zones and equipment.
Project End Result

The Alaska Department of Transportation, in cooperation with QAP Construction, is working to complete Systemic Passing Lanes from MP 99 to 123.5, and make improvements to the existing highway from MP 99 to 123.5. Work on this project is expected to be complete in September 2019.
