What You Need to Know
  • Drivers should be alert to shoulder work.
  • Please be alert to traffic control, workers, and equipment from MP 90 to 99.
  • Downed trees from MP 90 to 99 can be taken for public personal use. Please park in safe areas, and stay clear of active work zones and equipment.
Project End Result

The Alaska Department of Transportation, in cooperation with QAP Construction, is working to complete Systemic Passing Lanes from MP 83 to 99, reconstruction of the existing highway from MP 90 to 99, and pedestrian access improvements at the Parks Highway and Talkeetna Spur Intersection. Work on this project is expected to be complete in September 2019.
