What You Need to Know
  • Please be aware of ongoing construction activities from MP 123.5 to 163, as well as flagging operations and traffic control devices. 
  • Drivers should also be aware of PILOT CAR operations from MP 130 to 140.
  • Double traffic fines and reduced speeds are in effect.
Project End Result

The Alaska Department of Transportation, in cooperation with QAP, is working to improve the Parks Highway by constructing eight passing lanes periodically from MP 123.5 to 163. Work will include clearing, grubbing, widening lanes and replacing culverts.

  • Watch for changing driving surfaces
