- Be alert to LANE RESTRICTIONS on the Old Seward Highway from Davison Drive to Brandon Street from 7:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Saturday and expect NEW TRAFFIC PATTERNS 24 hours a day.
Project End Result
The Alaska Department of Transportation is working in conjunction with QAP to improve the Old Seward Highway. Upon completion, this project will resurface the Old Seward Highway from Rabbit Creek Road to Brandon Street. The project will mill and resurface the travel lanes for an approximately 1.8 mile segment. The project will also include improvements to pedestrian curb ramps, guardrail, guardrail end treatments, dig-outs, drainage repair, sign replacement, replacement of bridge membrane, and replacement striping. This project is projected to be completed in October 2015.
