What You Need to Know
  • Drivers should expect LANE CLOSURES between 8:00am and 4:00pm while crews work on the road and sidewalk.
  • Please be aware of crews performing paving operations at night.

Project End Result

The Alaska Department of Transportation, in cooperation with Pruhs Construction, is working to repave the Old Glenn Highway, from Artillery Road to W. Lake Ridge Drive. Work will also include installing new sidewalk and replacing curb ramp and damaged girders on Artillery Bridge.

  • Traffic fines are double
  • Watch for changing driving surfaces
  • Watch for reduced speed limits
  • Be alert to and follow directions of flaggers

  • Allow additional time when traveling
