Project End Result

The Alaska Department of Transportation, in cooperation with Swanson General Contractors, is working to install illumination upgrades on the North Tongass Highway, between Kian Street and South Point Higgins Road. Upon completion, 125 new LED luminaries will be mounted on new poles and mast arms. This project is expected to be complete by August 2017.
