- Crews are working from 6:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Saturday and occasional Sundays.
- Crews are constructing layup and freight facilities on the shoreline south of the Ketchikan International Airport. Drivers should expect potential minor DELAYS as equipment is being moved from in and out of the project site.
- Drivers should be alert to traffic control devices and narrow roadways.
The Alaska Department of Transportation, in cooperation with BAM, is working to improve the Ketchikan International Airport including layup and freight facilities. This project is expected to be complete in July 2023.
