JUNEAU: INDUSTRIAL BOULEVARD WIDENING AND SIDEWALK ROAD CONSTRUCTION through September
What You Need to Know
  • Crews are working on Industrial Boulevard between Glacier Highway and Maier Drive.
  • Crews will be working from 6:00pm to 7:00am, Monday through Saturday.
  • Drivers should expect TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS with flagging operations and DELAYS.
Project End Result

The Alaska Department of Transportation, in cooperation with SECON, is working to reconstruct Industrial Boulevard between Glacier Highway and Maier Drive. Work will include installing a new sidewalk along the west side of Industrial Boulevard, drainage improvements, intersection grading, driveway grading, and relocating water and sewer utilities. Work is expected to be complete in September 2019.

  • Watch for changing driving surfaces
