What You Need to Know
  • Be alert to daily traffic control during daytime hours.
Traffic Impacts
  • Please be alert to daytime traffic control on Boundary Avenue, between Turpin Street and Muldoon Road, and on Brayton Drive, between Academy Drive and Abbott Road. 
Project End Result

The Alaska Department of Transportation is working with Granite Construction, Inc. to install a new pedestrian fence along the frontage roads. This project is scheduled to be completed by the end of October, 2017.

Safety in all construction zones:

  • Traffic fines are double
  • Watch for changing driving surfaces
  • Watch for reduced speed limits
  • Be alert to and follow directions of flaggers
  • Drive with headlights on
  • Allow additional time when traveling
  • Watch for equipment and workers
