What You Need to Know
  • Drivers should be alert to short duration LANE RESTRICTIONS for small project work being completed at the Lake Otis Parkway and 68th Avenue intersection.
Traffic Impacts

Drivers should expect LANE RESTRICTIONS, sidewalk closures, and flagging operations for installation of the new traffic signal system. Also, be alert to new pedestrian routes and DETOURS.

Project End Result

The Alaska Department of Transportation, in partnership with Neeser Construction, Inc., is working to increase intersection safety at Lake Otis Parkway and 68th Avenue. Work may include repaving, sign maintenance, curb bulb installations, sight-distance improvements, and signal pole and arm relocation. This project is scheduled to be completed by the end of August 2018.
