What You Need to Know
  • Drivers should be alert to culvert work and striping, weather dependent.
  • Expect LANE RESTRICTIONS, flagging operations and DELAYS of up to 20 minutes from 8:00am to 8:00pm, Monday through Saturday.
  • Please drive with caution and check back for more information as project continues. 
Traffic Impacts

Please be alert to LANE RESTRICTIONS and DELAYS of up to 20-minutes. PILOT CAR operations will be on site, please follow with caution and abide by all posted speed limits

Project End Result

The Alaska Department of Transportation in partnership with Granite Construction are working to improve and replace existing culvert, ditch grading as well as new pavement on East End Road. This project is scheduled to be completed by mid-August, 2017.

  • Watch for changing driving surfaces
  • Watch for reduced speed limits

  • Allow additional time when traveling
