What You Need to Know
  • This project is in winter shutdown. Work is expected to resume in spring 2020.
Project End Result

The Alaska Department of Transportation, in cooperation with Granite Construction, is working to remove approximately 700,000 cubic yards of material on the south side of Chickaloon Bridge, straighten the alignment to the south of the bridge, and remove the light weight deck wedge currently on the bridge. This project is expected to be complete in summer 2020.
