What You Need to Know
  • Through September, drivers should be aware of a water truck on the northbound Glenn Highway Off-ramp, while crews water for grass establishment.
Project End Result

The Alaska Department of Transportation is working to repair the Glenn/Parks interchange from damage done by the November 2018 earthquake. Work will include rebuilding slopes to address slumping, replacing roadway structure, installing new guardrail, paving and striping to return the area to pre-earthquake condition. Work on this project is expected to be complete in September 2019.

Safety in all construction zones:

  • Traffic fines are double
  • Watch for changing driving surfaces
  • Watch for reduced speed limits
