FMATS SURFACE UPGRADES 2019 ROAD CONSTRUCTION through November
What You Need to Know
  • Crews are working in Hamilton Acres on Ketchikan Avenue, Juneau Avenue, Lignite Avenue and E Street.
  • Crews will be resurfacing Juneau Avenue, Lignite Avenue and E Street. Work is expected to last for approximately a week.
  • Crews will be working on Ketchikan Avenue for up to 3 weeks, while crews install stormwater piping, manholes and catch basins.
Project End Result

The Alaska Department of Transportation, in cooperation with Exclusive Paving, is working to resurface pavement at various locations throughout Fairbanks and North Pole. We will do our best to keep you informed as work progresses and appreciate your patience and cooperation during construction. This project is expected to be complete in November 2019.

  • Watch for changing driving surfaces
