Traffic Impacts
Throughout the construction season, expect LANE RESTRICTIONS, LANE CLOSURES, day and night work, alternating work schedules and minor DELAYS.
Project End Result
The Alaska Department of Transportation is working with Secon to rehabilitate the pavement of Egan Drive, from Mendenhall Loop Road to 10th Street (approximately MP 0.5 to MP 9), a distance of 8.08 miles. Upon completion, Egan Drive will be repaved, new guard rail and striping will be put into place, there will be new liners in deteriorated culverts, the bridge rail at Lemon Creek Bridge will be replaced, and pedestrian facilities will be upgraded to meet ADA standards.This project is scheduled to be complete by September 2016.
