• Be alert to intermittent LANE RESTRICTIONS and flagging operations on 5th Avenue and 6th Avenue, from Ingra Street to 'L' Street, and on 'L' Street and 'I' Street from 5th Avenue to 15th Avenue, 24 hours a day, Monday through Saturday, due to striping operations. 

The Alaska Department of Transportation is working with Granite Construction to improve downtown Anchorage roads. Upon completion, 5th Avenue, 6th Avenue, L Street, I Street, A Street, and C Street will be repaved, new curbs, gutters, curb ramps, and improved drainage will be put into place. This project is scheduled to be complete by July 2015.
