What You Need to Know
  • Through August, construction crews are working from 6:00am to 8:00pm, 7 days a week; drivers should be alert to PILOT CAR and flagging operations.
  • Drivers should be aware of crews working on the shoulder of the roadway.
  • Drivers should also expect loose gravel on roads; motorcyclists should use extreme caution.
Project End Result

The Alaska Department of Transportation, in partnership with Cruz Construction, is working to reconstruct and resurface the Dalton Highway between MP 362 and 379. Work will include widening, spot repairs, and realignment. Roadwork is expected to be complete by late September 2018.
