Chena Ridge Road is CLOSED to all traffic.

What You Need to Know
  • Please follow the posted DETOUR route to Chena Ridge Spur Road and Old Chena Pump Road.
  • Drivers should also expect SINGLE-LANE TRAFFIC on Old Chena Pump Road.
Traffic Impacts

Drivers should be aware of construction on the shoulder of Old Chena Pump Road.

Project End Result

The Alaska Department of Transportation will be working to replace the existing culvert under Chena Ridge Road and install a new culvert approximately 250 feet west of the existing culvert. We will do our best to keep you informed as work progresses and appreciate your patience and cooperation during construction. This project is expected to be complete by October 2018.
