CHENA HOT SPRINGS ROAD MP 20 JENNY M CREEK BRIDGE ROAD CONSTRUCTION through October
What You Need to Know
  • The bridge is open to traffic.
  • Crews will be working Sunday through Saturday, from 7:00am to 6:00pm.
  • Drivers should be aware of trucks entering and exiting the project site.
  • Please be aware of possible DELAYS with flagging operations.
Project End Result

The Alaska Department of Transportation, in cooperation with Tutka, LLC, is working to replace the Jenny M Creek Bridge on Chena Hot Springs Road at MP 20. During the 2018 construction season, crews built the approach roads for this season’s detour. This project is expected to be complete in October 2019.

Safety in all construction zones:

  • Watch for changing driving surfaces
  • Watch for reduced speed limits
  • Be alert to and follow directions of flaggers

  • Allow additional time when traveling
