Project End Result

The Alaska Department of Transportation, in partnership with QAP, is working to preserve C Street pavement and upgrade urban curb ramps. This federally funded contract work has been focused on improving the 'C' Street corridor, from the Port Access bridge to 40th Avenue. Outstanding work tasks this season include continuation of expansion joint replacement on the bridge, remaining paving (7th Avenue to Fireweed Lane), and bike lane striping from 10th Avenue to 40th Avenue. This project is scheduled to be complete by fall 2018.
