The Alaska Department of Transportation, in cooperation with Granite Construction, is working to improve the Seward Highway in this area and repair damage from the November 2018 earthquake. Sections of the roadbed and pavement in both north and southbound directions will be removed and re-paved. Drainage upgrades will also be completed on the northbound on-ramp from Tudor. This project is expected to be complete in October 2021.
