What You Need to Know
- Portions of the Fish Creek Trail are CLOSED between Red Bridge Park and Barbara Street Park.
- Segments of the trail are CLOSED to pedestrian and bicycle traffic. Access to Fish Creek Park, Woodland Park, and Barbara Street Park will be maintained.
- Please be aware that construction vehicles will be entering and exiting the pathway.
Project End Result
The Alaska Department of Transportation, in partnership with Neeser Construction, Inc., is working to reconstruct Fish Creek Trail from Red Bridge Park to Taft Street and from Fish Creek Park to Barbara Street Park. Project work includes installing new pavement, four new bridges, and new lighting throughout the project. This project is expected to be completed in fall 2019.
