Project End Result

The Alaska Department of Transportation is working with Granite Construction to improve the Alyeska Highway from the Seward Highway to Alberg Avenue. Upon completion, the Alyeska Highway will be resurfaced, the roadway from Forest Service Access Road to the intersection at Glacier Creek Drive will be narrowed, the project area will be upgraded to meet ADA standards, and the pedestrian pathway will be reconstructed and widened. This project is scheduled to be complete by July 2017.
