ABBOTT ROAD, LAKE OTIS PARKWAY to JUPITER DRIVE, REHABILITATION ROAD CONSTRUCTION through November
What You Need to Know
  • Please be alert and watch for workers and equipment on the shoulder of the road as seeding and watering operations continue this week. Workers and equipment will also be present at the intersection of Elmore Road and Abbott Road performing electrical work. Two way traffic will be maintained during this time. 
Project End Result

The Alaska Department of Transportation is working with QAP to rehabilitate Abbott Road. Upon completion, this project will improve the existing pathway from Lake Otis Parkway to Jupiter Drive, provide a new two-way left turn lane, add a second eastbound thru lane at Lake Otis Parkway, and make improvements to drainage, paving, signage, striping and signalization. This project is scheduled to be complete by September 2017.
