21. SEWARD HIGHWAY MP 100 to 105 IMPROVEMENTS ROAD CONSTRUCTION through the season
What You Need to Know
  • Drivers should be aware of crews working on the shoulder of the Seward Highway between MP 100 and 105 from Monday through Saturday between 8:00am and 6:00pm.
  • Expect PILOT CAR and flagging operations Monday through Thursday night between 7:00pm and 6:00am, and Sunday night between 10:00pm and 6:00am.
Project End Result

The Alaska Department of Transportation, in cooperation with Mass Excavation, is working to improve the Seward Highway between MP 100 and 105. Project work will include improving drainage, replacing Indian Creek Bridge, rehabilitating other bridges, improving trails, and upgrading signage, striping, and guardrail. The project will also provide roadway improvements to address safety issues caused by traffic flow disruption as well as increase safety at intersections and provide separation between motorized and non-motorized users.
