• Expect daily LANE RESTRICTIONS and flagging operations from 7:00am to 6:00pm due to striping operations until Saturday, October 25. 
• Be alert to changing traffic patterns and use cation when traveling throughout the project area. 

• Be alert to heavy equipment and construction workers on the roadway and shoulder.

• Expect DELAYS of up to 10 minutes due to nightly construction work, from 8:00pm to 5:00am.

The Alaska Department of Transportation is working with QAP to improve the Parks Highway from Lucus Road to Church Road. Upon completion, the Parks Highway will be extended to a five-lane configuration from Lucus Road through the Church Road intersection, pedestrian facilities will be improved, and a new traffic signal will be present at the Parks Highway and Deskas Street intersection.
