RAMP CLOSURE: Be alert to RAMP CLOSURES at Santa Clause Lane and Badger Road through the evening of Monday, July 25. Please follow construction signs for DETOUR routes.

• Be alert to nightly striping work with DELAYS of up to 5 minutes, workers and wet paint in the roadway, Monday through Friday, from 7:00pm to 7:00am, and Saturdays/Sundays from 7:00pm to 12:00pm. This work is occurring at the following intersections: Geist Road & Fairbanks Street, Johansen Expressway & College Road, Johansen Expressway/Geist Road & University Avenue as well as various North Pole roundabouts.

Over the course of the season, be alert to night work with DELAYS of up to 5 minutes.

The Alaska Department of Transportation, in cooperation with Specialized Pavement Marking, Inc., is working to install new striping at the following intersections in Fairbanks and North Pole: Geist Road & Fairbanks Street, Johansen Expressway & College Road, Johansen Expressway/Geist Road & University Avenue and North Pole roundabouts. This project is expected to be complete by the end of July 2016.
