The Alaska Department of Transportation is working with Granite Construction to improve the Glenn Highway from Boniface Parkway to the Knik River Bridge. Upon completion there will be comprehensive repairs to sections of roadway showing areas of delaminating and potholing asphalt. These repairs are meant as long-term repairs and should greatly reduce the need for maintenance to conduct pothole repair operations in the coming years. This project is scheduled to be completed by November 2015.
