• Be alert to DELAYS of up to 20 minutes due to flagging operations, as well as construction equipment and personnel in the roadway between MP 294 and MP 295, through Friday, July 29, daily, from 6:00am to 6:00pm.
• Be alert to a temporary traffic DETOUR between MP 294 and MP 295 with a reduced speed limit of 50 MPH.
• Be alert to a truck crossing at MP 294.

Over the course of the season, be alert to LANE RESTRICTIONS, flagging operations and DELAYS at the Banner Creek Bridge (MP 295 Richardson Highway). In addition, be alert to workers on the shoulder, possible flagging with PILOT CAR operations, trucks crossing through the construction zone and temporary DETOURS.

The Alaska Department of Transportation, in cooperation with Eklutna Service, Inc., is working to construct a new bridge at Banner Creek (MP 295 Richardson Highway). This project is expected to be complete by October 2016.
