What You Need to Know
- Be alert to pavement breaks, gravel surfaces, DELAYS of up to 20 minutes, PILOT CAR and flagging operations, and equipment in the roadway, Monday through Friday, from 6:00am to 6:00pm.
- Please note that turnouts at MP 55 and MP 56.5 are currently CLOSED to traffic.
Traffic Impacts

Project End Result
The Alaska Department of Transportation, in partnership with Great Northwest, Inc. is working to resurface the Tok Cutoff from MP 50 to MP 60. Planned improvements include replacing culverts, guardrails, signs, and re-establishing 6-foot roadway shoulder widths. This project is expected to be complete in June 2015.
