PEDESTRIAN PATHWAY CLOSURE: The west side Arctic Boulevard sidewalk is CLOSED at the Alaska Railroad crossing through the construction season. The sidewalk on the east side of Arctic Boulevard will remain open. 

• Be alert to intermittent LANE CLOSURES on Raspberry Road, from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Monday through Saturday.
• Expect intermittent right-lane CLOSURES heading southbound on 'C' Street at the Dowling Road intersection between 8:00am and 6:00pm, Monday through Saturday.

The Alaska Department of Transportation is working with Granite Construction to extend Dowling Road west, from C Street to Minnesota Drive. Work includes a new bridge over the Alaska Railroad lines at Arctic Boulevard, new traffic signals, class-A bike lanes, and separated trails along both sides. This project is projected to relieve Tudor Road congestion. West Dowling Road is scheduled to be open to traffic on Saturday, October 31, 2015 with a completion date of June 30, 2016.
